I am passionate about plants and distillation!

I am the author of Harvest To Hydrosol, a how to book on distilling exquisite hydrosols at home.

When I am not gardening or riding horses I am busy teaching and lecturing around the world. I am an international speaker on the research and distillation of hydrosols.

Ann Harman

Distiller

Distiller

Ann has been distilling for nearly 30 years. She witnessed her first hydrosol distillation at a United Plant Savers workshop at the Herb-Pharm in the 1990's. James Green was making a Rose hydrosol. She has been distilling ever since!

Organic Gardener

I have been in love with plants all of my life. I have had many gardens throughout my life. I love the native plants and each year find something new. I've had huge gardens and small gardens. All are organic. I grow most of the plants that I distill for my family.

Hydrosol Explorer

When I first began distilling there was very little information about hydrosols. If I wanted to know about a hydrosol I had to search for the information or find out the answer myself. This started me on a journey that I am still on today, Exploring Hydrosols. The information I have gathered over the years is now housed on my website Circle H Institute (circlehinstitute.com) I have over 150 analyses of the distillate waters and much more that I share.

International Speaker

I am fortunate and grateful to be able to share my passion with folks from around the globe. I have been invited to speak in many countries. There is a wonderful community of distillers around the world and I am happy to be part of it.

Educator

I love to share my passion with eager students. I have taught hands on workshops for years. Recently I have been hosting experts from around the world to come share their knowledge with the students at my intensive workshops in Spokane, WA. I am now bringing those workshops to the online world.
