Course Description

This module examines the three basic different methods of distillation: hydrodistillation, direct steam distillation (or water and steam distillation), and indirect steam distillation (or steam distillation), highlighting strengths and weaknesses of each method, and the materials best suited for each method. We’re going to translate the basics of the physics of distillation in a practical understanding of what happens inside the still in each method.
