Course Description

This module examines the practical, day-to-day problems of a distillation company, not limited to the actual distillation process, but including the whole flow of work, the documents and log-books needed to run the operations, the issues of preparation of the material prior to distillation, and the post-distillation and conservation issues.  I will discuss practical suggestions on distilling various plant materials amongst those I have experience with, and the different set-ups needed for different business sizes. Lab and distillation material, and cleaning proceeding are included
